US Blasts Mariah Carey For Performing In Nigeria: Calling Us A Country Known For ‘Terror, Death And Fraud’.

Seems the US media are not comfortable with Mariah Carey performing at a country they described as the “center of the world’s email financial crimes”.
mariahperf1
A popular news site, Radar Online, had this to say on the performance;
Mariah Carey proudly posted a pic of herself in a slinky yellow dress and wrote, “Backstage in Nigeria” on Saturday.
But maybe the songbird should have done some homework before agreeing to the gig?
Her show was at Access Bank’s Christmas Party which was also a farewell bash for the bank’s managing director.
And while Access Bank is a reputable financial institution, should Carey have known a few basics about the African nation before taking the paycheck?

Ironically — given that she was performing for bankers — it seems Carey wasn’t aware Nigeria is well-known as the center of the world’s email financial crimes! Nigeria is even part of the name — as in “Nigerian 411 Scams.”
Nigeria is also, according to the United Nations, the hub of human trafficking as “a source, destination and transit country.
AND, just for good measure, there are mass killings going on in two Nigerian states right now, and according to Human Rights Watch, the violence is being ignored by federal authorities.

YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT APPEARED ON MANDELA'S BODY

On Thursday, a rainbow appeared over the Union Buildings, the country’s official seat of power in Pretoria, and where the beloved world leader’s body is currently lying in state.

The body of Mandela, who passed away at the age of 95 on December 5, has been on display to the public since Wednesday, and will remain so till Sunday, the official funeral day.
The appearance of the rainbow over the building has shocked many.

Could this be coincidence or does it have some significant meaning?

Women’s Health – 9 Factors That Affect The Health Of The v**ina!!!

images (25)Vaginal health is an important part of a woman’s overall health. Vaginal problems can affect your fertility, desire for s*x and ability to reach climax. Ongoing vaginal health issues can also affect other areas of your life, causing stress or relationship problems and impacting your self-confidence.
What affects vaginal health?
The v**ina is a closed muscular canal that extends from the vulva — the outside of the female private part area — to the neck of the uterus (cervix). Various factors can affect your v**ina, some modifiable and some not. They include -
1. Unprotected s*x. You might contract a sexually transmitted infection if you have unprotected s*x.
2. Aggressive s*x or pelvic fracture. Forceful s*x or an injury to the pelvic area can result in vaginal trauma.
3. Certain health conditions. Diabetes and Sjogren’s syndrome — an autoimmune disorder — can cause vaginal dryness.
4. Medications and feminine-hygiene products. Prolonged use of antibiotics increases the risk of a vaginal yeast infection. Certain antihistamines can cause vaginal dryness. Superabsorbent tampons can lead to toxic shock syndrome — a rare, life-threatening complication of a bacterial infection.
5. Birth control products. Spermicide and NuvaRing (vaginal ring) can cause vaginal irritation. Using a diaphragm or contraceptive sponge might pose a risk of toxic shock syndrome.
6. Pregnancy and childbirth. If you become pregnant, you’ll stop menstruating until after your baby is born. During pregnancy, vaginal discharge often increases. Vaginal tears are relatively common during childbirth. In some cases, an episiotomy — an incision made in the tissue between the vaginal opening and anus during childbirth — is needed. A vaginal delivery can also decrease muscle tone in the v**ina.
7. Psychological issues. Anxiety and depression can contribute to a low level of arousal and resulting discomfort or pain during s*x. Trauma — such as s*xual abuse or an initial painful s*xual experience — also can lead to pain associated with s*x.
8. Getting older. The v**ina loses elasticity after menopause — the end of menstruation and fertility.
9. Hormone levels. Changes in your hormone levels can affect your v**ina. For example, estrogen production declines after menopause, after childbirth and during chest-feeding. Loss of estrogen can cause the vaginal lining to thin (vaginal atrophy) — making s*x painful.

Mide Funmi Martins’ and Afeez Owo’s Marriage Crashes

The daughter of late Funmi Martins, Mide, married a popular Nollywood actor and producer Afeez Owo several years ago. She also joined the Yoruba movie industry shortly. But, unfortunately Mide’s marriage to Afeez has crashed.
According to Nigeriafilms, their marriage packed up on an alleged infidelity accusation by Afeez. The actor has always been suspicious of his wife’s movement, and whenever he confronted her, her responses were not pleasing to his ear.
He had decided he could not handle her ‘infidelity’ anymore and separated from the actress months ago, despite pleas from friends and family.
“The couple has been having issues with their marriage several months back but the crack became evident after the couple started living separately this year,” a source of Nigeriafilms disclosed.
Their duo has since moved on. Afeez Owo not publicly shows off his new love interest, while Mide has their kids in her custody, and has not publicly identified with a love interest yet.

Love,sex, and relationship 1

Love & SexDealing With Open Relationships

Sometimes we want more than what our loving exclusive partner brings to our lives, so we embrace the open relationship system. Here are some helpful tips to make your open relationship work better.
Open relationship are an anomaly from the usual monogamous relationships. It involves two people who agree to be together but accept other partners.
Sometimes in a relationship you crave something different, not because you love your partner any less, but because variety can be fun and let’s face it, monogamy isn’t natural or easy to adapt to. Varying sex drive, relationship of convenience, and distance are other reasons for entering the maze called ‘open relationships’. It works for some people so if you can’t understand it, so don’t criticize it.
The thing about open relationships is that it has an expiry date because as humans we are subject to emotions like jealousy and possessiveness. Venturing into this kind of relationship is a tricky adventure which can only happen between people who know exactly what they want from the relationship and can separate sex from emotions, if you can work with that, why not give it a shot.
Here are some guiding tips concerning open relationships.
  1. Lay down rules: Right from the beginning let it be known that it’s an open relationship, state personal limits so no boundaries are crossed. These rules are more flexible than monogamous relationships. Negotiate the terms of the relationship. Allow vetos on emotional and physical boundaries.
  2. Honesty: Just like in a monogamous relationship, honesty is also important. Let your lover know that you’ll be off with your other lover. They need to know. If not, technically it’s cheating because they (your lover) have a say.
  3. Less pressure: There is less pressure to perform in a polyamorous relationship, if you can’t be available; your lover has an alternative which works well to prevent disappointment or sexual dissatisfaction.
  4. Freedom: Unlike in monogamy where you’re checking out someone else can stir up a fight, polyamorous relationships allow you to go after whosoever catches your eyes, and perhaps invite them into your relationship.
  5. Antidote to cheating: Monogamous relationships end more often than not because someone cheated; this is less frequently the case in open relationships where multiple partners are the norm.
  6. Test the waters: Before you commit to an open relationship, test the waters. You don’t want to delve into it and find out your lover is a jealous control freak, it just won’t work.
  7. Avoid mutual friends: Make sure the choice of a third party is not a mutual friend. Avoid this at all costs.
  8. Your partner gets preference: The third party shouldn’t get preference over your initial lover; it defeats the purpose of being together.
  9. Keep it private: You’re in an open relationship and you’re happy, however it isn’t something that should be shouted on roof tops, keep it private.
